Today we made pig tail splices on copper cables. The same kind of cables you find in your house. It was a pain in the rear, because the copper kept breaking.
Also I could not understand what possible application this had to computer engineering because you don't use copper cabling in any kind of computer equipment.

Today I spent half the period prepping for my unit 3 test, the other half I spent writing it. I also heard about the explosion at Mama T's I went there last year, I hope he pulls through...

Today I read through more of chapter 6 of Cisco 4.1 where I learned about the different kinds of routing protocols. RIP, EIGRP and OSPF. I learned about whens its best to use each protocol. For example RIP can only work on only up to 15 hops. where as EIGRP works up to 224.
