May 9th,
Today we watched a TED talk video about a chip that can detect areas of dark contrast and movement in the same way that an eye does. I also helped other people make their copper straight through and copper cross over cables for their Cisco practical assignment.
May 10th,
Today we watched another TED video that was talking about the origins of computers. How the first computers were created by the same people who created the atomic bomb.
I helped some more people with their cables. I also checked the connectors on other peoples cables to make sure they had the right order.
May 11th,
Today we watched yet another TED talk video. Today's video was about a device that could read commands from brain waves and have them interpreted by a computer to make a computer or device do something. After this video Chris and I began our cable Nazi inspection of the classes copper straight through and copper crossover cables to make sure that the wires were all in the correct order. If they were not then we would tell the person who owned the cable we were inspecting to redo the end or ends of their cables.
May 12th,
Today I read Cisco Chapter five and wrote the quiz for it scoring 100% on it. Also we had a meeting with Mr. Brooks about the unit 1 test that we apparently have tomorrow. ]
